This week, MAC announced their plans to launch in Sephora stores across the US in early 2026. And as anyone who’s ever longed for a tube of Ruby Woo while strolling the beauty destination’s aisles knows, this is a very, very big deal.
MAC and Sephora’s Partnership
MAC has been available at Sephora stores globally for years, and the US is finally getting their chance to shop the iconic brand’s lineup under the comfort of the black and white striped store’s fluorescent lights. I know those VIP Rouge members have been waiting.

MAC has been around since 1984, which means they’ve had years and years and years to cultivate an enormous fanbase.
“Ironically the first time I ever went to Sephora when I was in middle school I asked them if they carried MAC lmao,” one beauty lover wrote via Twitter after the news leaked.
When Instagram account @peoplebrandsandthings shared the announcement, words like “iconic” and “major” could be found under the post. The official MAC account even chimed in, writing “MAC hits harder when it’s in a black and white bag.”
