Dua Lipa is always on vacation, but she’s also always working. Two things can be true at once! More than two things can be true, even. Your favorite singer can also run your favorite book club and be the face of (big news incoming) your new favorite skincare line.
On Tuesday, November 4, Lipa announced DUA, a brand-new high-performance skincare line she created in partnership with Augustinus Bader, the company behind plenty of “your skin can heal itself” innovations.
“I’d been a fan of Augustinus Bader for so many years. I’ve always been so impressed by how much research goes into every product they create, and I knew I could trust them with this,” the 30-year-old told Byrdie while discussing the new line, which launches November 4, with three key products: a cleanser, serum, and cream moisturizer. Prices range from $40 to $80, which is significantly lower than most of AB’s offerings.

The Inspiration
“The inspiration really came from wanting to find a skincare routine that felt effortless, while still prioritizing the skin’s health,” Lipa explains. “It was also really important to me that the products were fragrance-free, lightweight, and ultimately adaptable to fit the skin’s needs.”
Also, back to that vacation comment. The line needed to do its job no matter what the superstar was up to.

“What was important to me is that this three-step process works in all situations, whether on vacation, on-stage, or running around the world,” she adds. “I’ve tested them out in all scenarios, and the three steps never change.”
The Products
The DUA routine features three core products “to really cover the routine from start to finish”: Balancing Cream Cleanser, Supercharged Glow Complex, and Renewal Cream.

“I’ll start with the Balancing Cream Cleanser, which is very gentle on the skin and just leaves it feeling really moisturized and hydrated. Then the Supercharged Glow Serum, which is my personal favorite. It helps the skin get that plump, dewy look,” Lipa explains. “Then I wrap up with the Renewal Cream, which is super light on the skin and has this gel-cream texture that I love. It’s got B-12 in it, which is so good for the skin, and then you can go right into your makeup routine. It’s quick, it’s easy, and it’s all I need to set me up for the day.”
We’re not all Dua Lipa, but we can all benefit from the routine. The singer has been sharing the line with her “nearest and dearest,” including her fiancé, Callum Turner.

“Everybody’s loving it.,” she explains. “It’s such a simple three-step routine, packed with peptides, which help the skin renew and strengthen without irritating it, and also niacinamide and ectoin, which help keep the skin feeling calm and balanced.”
The Formulas
Each product is powered by is powered by TFC5, a proprietary technology from AB Science that “promotes the skin’s natural health by supporting its barrier and enhancing long-term elasticity.” Unlike Augustinus Bader’s go-to TCF8, this peptide-, protein-, and antioxidant-rich complex is tailored for skin with minimal to moderate damage to deliver renewal signals “in a more measured way.”

The formulas are also vegan, cruelty-free, and made without fragrance, parabens, sulfates (SLS/SLES), phthalates, mineral oils, silicones, gluten, and other common irritants. They’re dermatologist-tested, non-comedogenic, and were tested on sensitive skin.
Dua Lipa’s Signature Look
Besides glowing skin, Lipa isn’t sure she has a signature beauty look. She likes to “play around with different looks and experiment from time to time,” as we very well know from her approach to nail art.

“After I do my skincare routine, I’ve been into adding some concealer, a mascara, a little blush, and a good lipstick or gloss. I never leave the house without one in my bag!” she says. “As for what else is in my bag, it’s always changing, but it’s usually some combination of wired headphones, a good selection of books, my AB glow serum, some snacks, my diary, the list goes on and on!”
